WELite is built on nearly 20 years of film experience. We have operated under this name since 2016, but long before that we were already there at the beginning of digital cinema cameras, starting in the tungsten and HMI era, then moving through the LED transition, the Skypanel revolution, and the new age of wireless lighting control.

We work with a young mindset, react fast to technical change, and believe that the best solution is smart, fast and cost-efficient at the same time.

We started in the middle of a generational shift in the craft.

When we began, tungsten and HMI were still the baseline. Then we were there at the turning point when the first Arri and Sony digital cinema cameras arrived, and we could watch the entire lighting language transform through LED technology.

The launch of the Skypanel marked a true shift in the industry, and we did not just observe it, we actively reshaped our workflows around it. We were among the first in Hungary to build serious wireless signal systems, among the first to work with LumenRadio Stardust, and pioneers in introducing linking-key based fixture pairing into practical use.

For us, innovation is never there for its own sake. We adopt new technologies quickly because on set, time, flexibility and reliability matter just as much as creative quality.

The goal is always the same: faster, better, smarter.

We kept recognising how needs were changing and adjusted the way we work.

Over the last ten years, we have worked almost continuously. We have taken part in the prep and production of numerous A-list international films and premium series, including Emmy-winning productions.

It is hard work, but we love doing it. And we believe it is only worth doing if the bar gets raised a little higher every single day.
